Knox-Lincoln SWCD Conservation Bus Tour ~ Thursday, October 7th

This year, you're invited to join us as we discover new and exciting destinations in Knox County. Participants will enjoy breathtaking views along country roads where the leaves are especially breathtaking at this time of year during the peak of Maine’s legendary fall foliage season. USDA/NRCS Conservationist Mary E. Thompson and Knox-Lincoln SWCD Office Manager Katherine Ward will provide information and answer questions about conservation and agricultural activities as we drive past local farms, lakes, mountains and blueberry fields.

Pre-registration is required and seats will fill up quickly. A morning break with homemade breads and muffins, plus a homemade picnic lunch are included in the $30.00 fee per person.  The bus will depart promptly at 8:30 a.m. from the parking lot at the Warren USDA Service Center on Route 90 and will return around 4:00pm.

To receive a registration form, to register for the tour or to receive more information, please contact Office Manager Katherine Ward at 273-2005, Extension 101. Below are some photos from previous tours.  We hope you will be able to join us!
