“Building Climate Resilience with Native Plant Species” (rescheduled from Mar 19)

Town of Rockport Conservation Commission announces their 2023 Climate Speaker Series: “Taking Action on Climate Change: What Can Rockport Do?” The series is part of the Climate Action Grant awarded by the Maine Governor's Office on Policy, Innovation and the Future (GOPIF) to the RCC to address the project’s community engagement goal to educate residents on local climate change topics and resilience strategies.

The second in the series will feature Rebecca Jacobs, KLSWCD Program Manager speaking on “Building Climate Resilience with Native Plant Species.”

The talks will be held at the Rockport Public Library located at 1 Limerock Street, the third Wednesday of each month from February 15th to June 21st from 6:00 - 7:15 PM. Refreshments will be provided.
