Pond Construction & Maintenance Workshop

When: Friday, April 12, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Where: Oak Point Farm - Boothbay Region Land Trust 60 Samoset Road Boothbay Harbor

Learn how to build and maintain a pond to enhance your landscape, increase biodiversity and maximize wildlife habitat. Presenter is Candice Gilpatric, engineer at NRCS.

This program is offered in collaboration with Boothbay Region Land Trust and NRCS. Participants will walk to the pond onsite.

  • After indoor classroom experience, participants will walk to a pond onsite for further discussion.

  • Please dress for the weather and ground conditions.

  • In the event of cancellation for really bad weather, we will get in touch by email by 8:00 AM.
