Conservation Landscape Certification Program Speaker Series: Backyard Birding with Lee Emmons (in-person with limited seating & online)

  • Oak Point Farm 60 Samoset Road Boothbay Harbor, ME, 04538 United States (map)

Knox-Lincoln SWCD is excited to partner with Waldo County SWCD on the newly developed Conservation Landscape Certification Program (CLC). This program will help you implement conservation practices in a systematic way, measure your progress and share your experiences with neighbors, friends and family.

Join us for the second program in our 2022 Conservation Landscape Certification (CLC) Speaker Series. Knox-Lincoln SWCD is partnering with Boothbay Region Land Trust to host our next talk held in-person (limited seating) and online. This talk will be led by writer and birder, Lee Emmons. Lee will share his years of knowledge identifying backyard birds, sharing tips for identification, suggestions for choice feeders, importance of conservation of habitat, planting to ensure cover and food, and much more. Come join the estimated 45 million other US citizens enjoying the benefits of backyard birding!
