Conservation Landscape Certification Program

Knox-Lincoln SWCD is excited to partner with Waldo County SWCD on the newly developed Conservation Landscape Certification Program (CLC). This program will help you implement conservation practices in a systematic way, measure your progress and share your experiences with neighbors, friends and family.

Join us for the webinar to learn how this new program can help you increase the conservation value of your property!
Completion of the certification includes:

  • A certificate and document that could support conservation projects with NRCS or state agencies.

  • A sign indicating your property is certified, which is a great way to start conversations with others about your efforts.

  • Recognition as a Certified Conservationist in our annual journals and at our annual meetings (each district respectively).

It’s likely your own immediate reward will be the chance to watch birds and wildlife inhabiting your land, feeding, and raising young, and seeing beautiful changes in the landscape.

This program is hosted by Boothbay Region Land Trust. Rebecca Jacobs, Program Manager, Knox-Lincoln SWCD, will present.

**The program is also offered on April 6th at noon. Both Rebecca Jacobs, Program Manager, Knox-Lincoln SWCD, and Aleta McKeage, Technical Director, Waldo SWCD, will present.
